Our terms and conditions
Last updated: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SpeechOptimizer, including its website, speech-practice tools, analysis reports, account features and any paid features we make available. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
SpeechOptimizer lets you record or upload short speech samples and receive automated transcription, delivery metrics and AI-generated coaching suggestions. The service is designed for practice and self-improvement. It is not medical, legal, employment, education or other professional advice, and AI-generated feedback may be incomplete or inaccurate.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use the service only with that consent. You are responsible for information submitted through your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must promptly tell us through the Contact page if you believe your account has been compromised.
You retain your rights in recordings, transcripts, practice context and other content you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, process, transmit and transform that content only as needed to deliver, operate, secure and troubleshoot the service for you. You must have the right to submit any recording or other content you upload.
You may not use SpeechOptimizer to violate law or third-party rights, impersonate another person, submit content you are not permitted to process, probe or bypass security controls, disrupt the service, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or use the service to distribute malware, fraud or harmful content. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or third parties.
Transcripts, metrics and coaching suggestions are generated by automated systems and can contain errors. You should review outputs before relying on them, particularly for high-stakes decisions. We do not guarantee a specific speaking outcome, score improvement, ranking, interview result, sales result or other performance result.
Where paid features are offered, the price, included usage and any expiration period are shown at checkout or on the Pricing page. Usage credits are consumed according to the product terms shown at purchase. A checkout clearly marked Test or Sandbox does not process a real payment.
Duplicate or erroneous charges are eligible for a full refund. If a platform failure causes a paid usage deduction without producing a valid analysis, we will restore the affected credit or provide a refund. An unused credit pack may be refunded within seven days of purchase. Consumed credits are otherwise non-refundable except where required by law or where the service failure rule above applies.
Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we process it, the service providers involved and your privacy choices. Our Cookie Policy explains cookies and similar technologies. Those policies form part of the service terms that apply to your use of SpeechOptimizer.
You may request account deletion using the controls provided in the application. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create security or abuse risk, or if we are legally required to do so. Account deletion is subject to limited retention of records that we must keep for payment, fraud prevention, security or legal compliance.
SpeechOptimizer, its software, branding, interface and original service content are owned by or licensed to the service operator and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
We may improve, modify or discontinue features and may perform maintenance or impose reasonable usage and security limits. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or guaranteed results. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeechOptimizer and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business opportunities arising from use of the service. Where a monetary cap is legally permitted, aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
We may update these Terms when the service, law or our practices change. The “Last updated” date will show the latest revision. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Questions about these Terms can be sent through our public Contact page. Any governing-law, venue or mandatory consumer-protection rule that applies to you remains subject to applicable law and cannot be waived by these Terms where the law does not allow it.
